Hi, this is a good question, it involves many developer that have already an app with cocos2d deployed or are developing it.
I personally have a bigger game about 70% completed and do not know if it is still worth completing it. I am using it since version 0.9 of cocos2d.
What should I do with the other game in the store?
I don’t want to migrate to cocos2d-x and I mean objc with cocos2d is at the moment really stable.
My development time is about 10-20h a week, after working time during the night.
The only thing as umen said : when there will be another iOS Version or a new device, is there somebody updating the library?
Can we make a statement we want to keep cocos2d alive?
So if updates are needed there are enough developer we can discuss, try to fix it etc.
Especially are there enough people using it or all the developer that were so active since 0.9 have already moved to swift or cocos2d-x or whatever library?
I would like to hear from birkemose, from s1ddok, from all the persons that made this wonderful project possible.
Would be nice to have a revival, refresh the site knowing that we can continue using cocos2d.
