I posted this originally at the Cocos2d-x discussion forums but it was deleted by the moderators. May be they considered it to be spam, who knows.
I started developing mobile games with Cocos2d-ObjC and I really liked the self documented syntax and dynamic features of the language, also that it was close enough to the metal to use pointers and stuff from C/C++.
With Swift I'm waiting for it to become mature enough to start using it in production code, but I just stumbled with this post where the author gives his 2¢ about SCADE, a relatively unknown IDE for cross-platform development using Swift.
So I'm just wondering whether anyone has tried SCADE? And whether it can be used for games?
A while back someone tried to crowdfund his way into porting Cocos2d to Swift, but the campaign ended up unfunded, do you know of some port that is currently in active development?
Any comment is appreciated.
