Are you sure that everybody understand that type of quality? Please don't speak for everybody. And some/most people don't see or don't understand small things in game development, but this entirely form the overall quality of the game. Anyway, I don't want to discuss this.
However, lets see: try to download pudding monsters and my game jelly squares and try to compare what happening between transitions in both games. I've tested this on many devices, but currently I've only iPod touch 5G and it's slow device, however in pudding monsters transitions are very nice anyway. Animated scene nicely fade out with any running animations and button not sticks. But in my game even with preloaded scene it sticks for a moment. Can you see this?
It's disabled be default.
I see freezing because of screen-shoot making. Animation -> freeze -> animation - fade out scene.
Also, background music interrr rrupp rupp tting(sound like I wrote) when game loads first time. Don't know why, but I don't want to check this more.
Ok, so you have tested on 1 device and again you can talk about all other. This is not serious.
Again, this.. ohh. I've developed a lot of games with cocos2d v2, v3 and u saying me that?
Same situation as was before with other bug that u ignored about project generator, it's still there actually, but who cares.
Also, in cocos2d v2 I didn't noticed such problems, maybe this can help. And I personally see in profiler that making of screen shoot it take processor time, so this cause freezing at first place, however, animation to outgoing scene must be enabled by default.
Other thing - then even if you create a new project with 2 dump scenes and button on each one and switch between them with standard fade - you will see that lag - button will freeze.
Example from jelly squares( with outgoing scene animation and cashed next scene) https://www.dropbox.com/s/v8bx15u7s2gdq3c/Untitled.mov?dl=0
