i am in need of a pickerView in one of my ccnode layers. From my understanding you can not use the standard picker view from the UI kit. However according to this thread:
someone has created a ccpicker for cocos2d, however the link is no longer working. Does anyone have this implementation they can let me utilise? Any help would greatly be appreciated - many thanks

Like itlgames said, you can always use ui kit and put it in. You could always do a private message to hm50.

i have already pm hm50
trouble with my game is that i need the picker view within one of the game scenes. Unless i can somehow pause the scene, display the picker view and then return the data back into the scene before returning to normal. Is there an example of this i can follow?

I wrote a CCPickerView that is available on GitHub https://github.com/fidgetware/CCPickerView. It is a close drop replacement for UIPickerView.
